The Truspeed laser speed gun is the successor to the legendary UltraLyte device, which is used by police forces in over 70 countries.

TruSpeed allows for precise targeting of vehicles across any number of lanes and at any traffic volume, which is the device’s key advantage. It is the officer who decides what to measure, not the device, as is the case with traditional radars (the laser device ensures unambiguous identification of the vehicle whose speed is being monitored at any given moment).

The beam width of TruSpeed is only 2.5 mrad, which allows for precise vehicle selection. This is made possible by a sighting scope with a visible laser targeting dot inside.
TruSpeed is completely safe—like the entire LTI laser family—for both the operator and road users. It meets the strict requirements of Class I eye safety, in accordance with the European standard IEC 60825-1.

TruSpeed is equipped with a function to detect devices that interfere with the laser’s operation (so-called jammers), which allows both for measuring the vehicle’s speed and for alerting the operator to an active jammer in the targeted vehicle (optional).
